Today, Chelsea, her friend, and I decided to jump into The Takeover event on Work at a Pizza Place. We played through all four rounds together — and wow, it was a mix of fun, frustration, and teamwork! Here’s how it went:

Round 1: The Takeover @ Work at a Pizza Place
Round 1: The Takeover @ Work at a Pizza Place

Round 1 – A Classic Start

The first round felt like a normal game of Work at a Pizza Place. Our goal was simple: deliver 10 pizzas. It was quick, easy, and gave us a chance to warm up before things got tricky. Round 1 Ratings: Difficulty | Fun Factor | Overall Chelsea ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) Tara ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)

Round 2 – Lost in Space

In round two, things took a turn — literally! We had to deliver pizzas in space, but the cars were nearly impossible to control. We ended up walking or jumping the whole time, which made everything very, very, very slow. It was funny at first, but also a real test of patience. Chelsea ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5)

Round 3 – The Floor is Lava

This round was the toughest physically. The floor had been turned into lava, and we had to keep adding water to stop ourselves (and our customers!) from burning up. It was stressful but also exciting — we had to work together quickly, and it really kept us on our toes.

Round 4 – The c00lkidd Challenge

The final round was by far the most mentally challenging. We had to face c00lkidd, who controlled a panel that could teleport us, slow us down, or even create holes in the floor. To win, we had to deliver 30 pizzas — starting with zero supplies. Every time we thought we were making progress, c00lkidd would mess with the platforms and pull us back. This round took the longest, and we were exhausted by the end — but we felt so proud for finishing it! Round 4 Ratings:

Difficulty | Fun Factor | Overall

Chelsea ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

Tara ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

Final Thoughts

The Takeover event turned a simple pizza game into a creative mix of challenges. From space walking to lava floors to outsmarting c00lkidd, it was full of surprises. We laughed a lot, got frustrated at times, but also learned how important teamwork and patience are.

If your child enjoys Roblox and is up for a mix of fun and challenge, The Takeover is definitely worth trying. Just be prepared — it’s not as easy as it looks!

Overall Event Rating:

Chelsea ⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐(5/5)

Tara ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

Parent’s Note

This event is more than just play — it encourages:

  • Teamwork: children need to communicate and cooperate to complete deliveries.

  • Problem-solving: each round has unique obstacles that require thinking ahead and adjusting strategies.

  • Resilience: with setbacks like c00lkidd’s tricks or tricky lava floors, kids learn not to give up, even when it feels impossible.

It’s a great example of how games can build social and cognitive skills in a fun, low-pressure environment.
